MARE NOSTRUM at WAICF 2023

Mare Nostrum is an immersive experience that delves into the heart of underwater plastic pollution and its impact on biodiversity. The project features simultaneous video projections on three screens that represent the three interconnected themes of Science, Art, and AI Technologies.

The Science aspect of the project highlights the research of the Laboratoire d’Océanographie de Villefranche (CNRS LOV) and the Institut de Sciences Marines (CNR-ISMAR) in Lerici.

The Art component showcases the works of Jérémy Gobé, Patrick Moya, Camilla Alberti, and Florian Draussin.

Innovative companies in Artificial Intelligence are also highlighted, featuring cutting-edge technologies such as System Guard-1 from Oengineering, 3D artificial vision and data mining from On Air, and the industrial metaverse from HAVGUARD, presented by Thierry Deschamps de Paillette.
